Join Compass Point home of Dirty Girl Adventures for an out and back hike in the Hundred and Ten Mile Recreation Area at Pomona Lake. This is an 8 mile hike over uneven, natural terrain. It includes beautiful lake views, opportunities to see wildlife and time together on the trail. Spending the day on the trail with friends and fresh air is an amazing way to spend the day. Join us to enjoy nature, learn more about wildlife and plants along the trail and meet some new friends who also enjoy time spent outside. This hike is open to Dirty Dudes, Dirty Kids and anyone who is interested and prepared to hike 8 miles. Dirty Dogs are welcome if they are leashed for the duration of the event. Detailed directions will be emailed to participants 24 hours before the event. Check in time: 9:30am Bring/Wear: Watch the weather - dress in layers, water, snacks. Trekking poles and a day pack are recommended for this hike. Regular cost: $35 Club cost: $30 What are you paying for? Dirty Girl Adventures, LLC will organize the event, provide a guide, support on the trail and docent information throughout the event. We will monitor the weather and conditions to ensure that our event and participants are safe. Our knowledgeable and informed guide service includes a leading guide and a sweep guide during the hike. Trail support including: first aid, knowledge of the environment and locale, safety monitoring, pacing, interpretive information on the environment and location. In addition, you will get the opportunity to ride the Dirty Bus from your car to the starting location. In case you are wondering about our refund policy – refunds are given up to two weeks before the date of the event when the refund is requested in an email directed to [email protected]. After that, there are no refunds. Dirty Girl Adventures may cancel an event due to weather or conditions. Everyone will receive a refund if that is the reason for the cancellation. We will paddle and hike in cool, rainy or snowy conditions. Cancellation only occurs in severe weather or other dangerous conditions.
