What if there were no mountain bike trails? Imagine if there was no place to hike or mountain bike in New Jersey? Advocacy groups and volunteers are integral to sustaining outdoor recreation spaces. The good news? You can help by volunteering.
Join Trek Paramus and JORBA to learn how you can help maintain your favorite bike trails at an open house on Wednesday, April 16 from 6:00-8:00pm. The Jersey Off Road Bicycle Association (JORBA) is dedicated to serving off road cyclists as a member of equal standing within the trail user community.
Founded in 1999, JORBA's focus is to build and maintain sustainable multi-use trails, organize and encourage volunteerism and responsibility, and advocate and foster mountain biking as a healthy, environmentally sound, and sustainable activity.
What if there were no people to ride the trails? The National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) builds strong minds, bodies and characters through cycling. Their vision is that every youth is empowered to be part of a thriving and engaged cycling community.
