Instructor: Eric Friedman Symbols are a means of non-verbal communication that can often have multiple levels of meaning. They communicate complete concepts & ideas holistically, as they engage the intuitive right side of the brain, rather than the analytical left side, which is verbal. Symbols therefore often speak directly to our unconscious, at least as much as they do to our waking mind. This class is an introduction to basic symbolism, how to recognize & interpret them, and - ultimately - how to actually think symbolically.
