Description

Load your bikes, grab your friends, and join us for a morning to learn and practice riding gravel. This clinic provides a low-stakes, safe, and fun learning environment to get comfortable on your bike and dial in your gear for gravel riding. The group will take the first 45 minutes to practice balance, bike-handling drills, and other skills for navigating gravelly terrain. After practicing at the park, we'll head out for about a 10-mile gravel ride to put those newly learned skills to work. Who is this clinic for? Anyone looking to learn or practice the fundamentals of gravel riding. Need a refresher before the start of the season or looking to dip your toes into gravel this year? In alignment with Prairie Bloom and Grounded Nebraska’s missions to foster equality and diversity within cycling, this clinic is for all women, non-binary, and trans members of our community. --------- This clinic is a collective event between the cycling community brought to you by Prairie Bloom Cycling Club and Race Team, Grounded Nebraska, The Bike Way, and SRAM. Disclaimer: While we plan for every rider to have a safe experience, there are some inherent risks in choosing to participate in cycling, such as adverse traffic conditions, road conditions, weather, and the actions of motorists and other cyclists. By choosing to participate, you acknowledge that you are willing to assume these risks, and that neither PBCC, Grounded Nebraska, SRAM, or The Bike Way are responsible for any damage that may occur.
