Cabernet Franc lovers and wine producers are descending upon Livermore Valley from June 1st - 4th for CabFranc-A-Palooza! Over the course of 4 days, 35+ wineries will celebrate all things Cabernet Franc with events and tastings - culminating in the Grand Tasting on Sunday June 4th. Award-winning wines from the Livermore Valley, France, Napa Valley, Sonoma, Paso Robles, Oregon, Washington State, the North Fork of Long Island, Sierra Foothills, Santa Barbara, Santa Cruz Mountains, Virginia, Texas and more will be featured throughout the week! Sunday June 4th, 1-4pm (VIP admission 12-4pm): The Grand Tasting, outdoors at The Steven Kent Winery. Taste Cabernet Franc from around the world (~25 wineries), enjoy live music, hoop dancers, jugglers, artists, carnival games, and more! Food Trucks will have tasty options available for purchase. General Admission 1-4pm. $85 per person Early Bird pricing if purchased before April 15th. $99 after April 15th.VIP 12-4pm. Enjoy an extra hour of the Palooza AND VIP-only wines, reserve wines, and barrel samples from participating wineries. $109 per person Early Bird pricing if purchased before April 15th, $125 after April 1st.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thursday June 1st, 6-8:30pm at Posada Restaurant in Livermore. Kick-off Party celebrating Livermore Valley Cab Franc Producers. This outdoor event takes over Posada with 3 food stations of tasty bites and 13+ of Livermore Valley's finest Cab Franc producers! Wineries include: Las Positas Vineyards, Darcie Kent Vineyards, Cellar 13, L'Autre Côte by the Steven Kent Winery, Occasio Winery, Bent Creek Winery, 3 Steves Winery, Nottingham Cellars, Rodrigue Molyneaux Winery, Fenestra Winery, Garre Vineyard and Winery, Rosa Fierro Cellars, Wente Vineyards, Murrieta's Well Estate Vineyard, Almost Famous Wine Company and more! $70 per person Early Bird pricing if purchased before April 15th. $85 after April 15th (if not sold out). If you make dinner reservations for after the event, Chef Eduardo has a special treat for all Palooza guests (event limited to 100 guests). ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saturday June 3rd, 5-7pm at Charming Fig: An Exploration into Cabernet Franc (Wines from FIVE different regions). An intimate tasting with winemakers from the Livermore Valley (L'Autre Côte by the Steven Kent Winery), Napa Valley (The Debate), Oregon (Leah Jørgensen), Virginia (Paradise Springs) and Bordeaux (Paradise Rescued). Each winery will pour TWO Cab Francs that highlight their region and winemaking style. The TVC is an advocate for Livermore Valley winegrowers and raising awareness of this world-class growing region. Please Note: All participants must be over 21 years of age. No smoking is allowed on property or in the parking lot. No animals are allowed, with the exception of service animals. Carpooling and Ride Share services are encouraged. Parking for the outdoor Grand Tasting event on Sunday is complimentary, however the walk from the parking lot to the festival is equivalent to a short 2 block walk, please plan accordingly.
