The Junior Women's League of Smithfield (JWL) invites you to join us for our "Friends of the League" event–an evening of networking and connecting with more than a dozen non-profits from across Johnston County. This public event will serve as a platform for these organizations to educate guests about their sustainable, service-driven solutions to problems impacting citizens in our local communities. Those in attendance will have the opportunity to mingle and speak directly with non-profit leaders about their meaningful, hands-on initiatives and explore how people of all ages are able to proactively support their efforts. We are honored to have three keynote speakers joining us from the Fraternal Order of Police, Johnston County Mobile Market and Partnership for Children of Johnston County. These speakers are a small representation of the many who serve as a catalyst for constructing a better place for us to live by fostering a culture of giving. They exemplify what it means to have a servant’s heart. Each speaker will have dedicated time to discuss their outreach and services, as well as their experiences partnering with our league this year. JWL is thrilled to introduce you, or possibly reacquaint you, with these local organizations and to showcase their philanthropic work benefiting the residents of Johnston County. It is our hope that this event will empower and inspire all who attend. Join us as we show our appreciation for those trailblazing a path of positive change for the generations to come.
