This isn’t your parents’ DEI panel. We’re done talking about why diversity matters. We’re done making the pitch for the industry to embrace diversity. At this year’s Center Lecture, we’re talking to pros who are breaking down systemic barriers and creating a PR industry that is more inclusive and equitable. We are working toward a workforce where everyone has a seat at the table. Gen Z are our future CEOs, future presidents and thought leaders, and they are not afraid to use their superpower to claim their space in the industry. Data shows that 53% of Gen Z want to see more diversity in corporate leadership. It’s time to recognize diverse PR professionals who have worked their way to the top so we can be inspired by the momentum they’ve created within the PR workforce. This year's panel will feature four industry leaders: * Scott Allison, CEO of Allison+Partners. * Claudia Vargas, vice president of Allison+Partners. * Allix Wright, vice president of Allison+Partners. * Dr. Jonathan Wosen, Biotech and life science reporter at STAT News. The Broom Center knows change requires action, not just words. We’re committed to investing in PR pros and students by offering scholarships, grants, learning opportunities and annual center lectures.
