Who Cares? Our engaging storytellers, that's who! Hear the joys and challenges of professional care of adults with intellectual disabilities. Direct care workers and people with disabilities will share their stories for one night only--Wednesday, April 12 at the Pittsburgh Playhouse's Rauh Theater. There's a dire shortage of people who work in direct care, and a waiting list of thousands for people to receive help. Let's step inside this often hidden world to find out what's going on. Besides the stories, you'll see a photo essay one woman captured of her life in and out of a community living home, also known as a group home.
