Hi! I am Cass, the piano and voice teacher here at Rob’s Rock School. I love teaching music, and wanted to create class that would be fun, exciting, and a nice little introduction to the piano, guitar and singing. There are 8 slots available for each session for children ages 5-7. Your child does not need to bring an instrument, but if they play one, they are more than welcome to bring it along! What to expect: -Vocal warm ups (the fun, silly ones that make kids laugh) -Sing a longs (a mix of kids songs and classic rock songs) -Rhythm exercises, and also teaching about the piano and guitar. Each child will have the opportunity to play an instrument and participate in a group song at the end of class. For parents, friends or family who sign their child up, this will be the process for when you get there: -sign in with us at the front waiting room (which has an open doorway right into the group classroom) -stay with your child until the start of class -either wait in the waiting room, or you can leave and come back at the end of class -if you feel your child may get nervous or anxious, you are more than welcome to keep an eye and come into the class room to be near them to check in with them when needed
