Participants will learn cultivation methods for several species of mushroom on natural logs, composted straw, and sawdust. All class attendees will make and take an inoculated log to grow mushrooms at home.

About the PresenterTavis Lynch is a 30 year veteran of mushroom cultivation. He operates Tavis's Mushrooms, an 8000 log shiitake operation near Cumberland, WI. An expert forager and mycologist, Tavis is the author of "Mushroom Cultivation"(Quarto) and "The Beginner's Guide to Mushrooms" (Quarto).
