Description
We're excited to see you at our annual Equus Festival! You're welcome to bring your horse for the entire weekend, stalls will be provided at no additional charge. Haul in will begin at 4pm Friday. If you prefer you can haul your horse in for the day on Sunday. You won't need your horse on Saturday, there won't be any mounted clinics but you'll have time to ride. Schedule of Events:Friday • 4pm – 6pm Haul in and check in • 6pm - Pizza + free riding ($5 per person for dinner, please bring your own drinks) Saturday • 8:30am – 9:30 - Free Ride • 10am – Noon - 4H Judging • Noon – 1pm – Lunch Break/Free Ride • 1pm – 3pm – 4H Groom Squad • 3pm - 4pm - Horse Bowl in the barn • 4pm - 6pm - Horse games/Free Ride Sunday • 9:00am - 10:30am - Trail Clinic given by Jerry Pelikan • 11:00am –12:30pm – Jumping Clinic • 12:30pm – 1:30pm – Lunch break • 1:30 – 3:30pm – Gaming Clinic You are welcome to come for a day, both days, or stay overnight! Camping - If you’re planning on camping over the weekend, we will be using the Enumclaw Expo Center RV Campground. The gate to and from the RV park and the Expo Center will be unlocked, you won't need to drive around to enter the Expo Center. Please sign up here https://www.enumclawexpo.com/p/camping Parking - If you're planning on using a stall, please see the parking map below for where to enter and exit the Expo Center. You'll park your truck and trailer over by the parking area near campervile. Stalls - Stalls are available for weekend use. Please bring your own shavings and thoroughly clean your stall before you leave. If stalls are not clean when you check out, please remember we have your information and know where you live! Jumping Clinic - If you are participating in the jumping clinic, you will need to ride in an english saddle. Check In - Once you purchase your ticket you'll receive a confirmation. You don't need to bring the ticket with you to Equus. Friday check in will be at 4pm, Saturday morning will be at 9:00am and Sunday at 8am. Please check-in at the barn office to have a parent sign your medical release form, if you don’t have one on file. Volunteering - Please keep in mind, our 4H events are run entirely by volunteers. If your child is a 4H member, please remember to help out during the weekend. Dress Code - There isn’t a dress code for the event. However, heeled boots, riding pants and helmet are required.
