Learn about steps to achieving GAP certification and the GAP audit process! Farmer Natasha Crawford of Healing Hope Urban Gardens is expanding her operation to a plot at the Petersburg CommUNITY Farm. Join Natasha and Local Food Hub food safety specialist Stasia Greenewalt to evaluate on-farm food safety risks as they plan for GAP certification. Participants will fill out their own risk assessments with their own growing space in mind. These can one day serve as the backbone of your GAP manual.
