Calling all San Diego County professionals who provide services for pregnant and postpartum families...join us for a morning of in-person networking where you can connect with other providers, share your business, and explore how we can help support each other, and ultimately, local families through collaboration and intentional referrals. Doulas, childbirth educators, lactation support, midwives, pelvic floor therapists, chiropractors, yoga teachers, massage therapists, acupuncturists, and any professional who serves pregnant, birthing, and postpartum people....you are invited! Agenda: 8:30 am - Arrive and grab a coffee, green juice, and light breakfast bites (think: fruit and aussie bites...) 8:45 am - 90 second elevator pitch (share your business and one thing you would like support with right now) 9:15 am - Triads (the hosts will organize groups of three for deeper connection) 10:15 am - goodbyes + discuss next meeting This event is donation based ($5 suggested donation) to cover the costs of coffee, light breakfast, and the space reservation fee. Any remaining funds after covering the cost will be donated to a local nonprofit (will announce who at the meeting). Pre-registration is required. Bring your birthworker friends! Location: With nicer weather coming and to be able to welcome as many birthworkers as possible, we will be hosting our next meetup in a beautiful outdoor space in Escondido with plenty of room. In graduate school, she developed a passion for treating women struggling with pelvic floor dysfunction. After receiving her doctorate in physical therapy at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, she went on to pursue further education for pelvic floor treatment through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. - Kelly Rae Brusch, Doula Founder of Doulas of North County | www.doulasofnorthcounty.com Kelly has been supporting pregnant and postpartum families since 2018, practicing doula support both across the nation and internationally. She followed her passion for helping both families and doulas alike, by bringing her vision of an intentional and compassionate doula-team to life. As the Founder of Doulas of North County, Kelly helps connect families to doulas while also creating a space for community amongst birth workers with a focus on serving North County families and doulas.
