Nineteen Wasatch Front Black professional women, representing the fields of social work, computer technology, education, and law, gathered at the Radisson Suites Hotel to charter a new graduate chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Charter members of the chapter have been recognized as the first African Americans in their fields of education, government, health, and social justice. As community leaders, our charter members continue to demonstrate the chapter’s organizing theme of “Deltas on the Move in Utah.” The chapter was officially chartered on May 1, 1988.
35th Anniversary Rate of $135 ends March 31; $75 for children 10 and younger. The ticket price increase to $150 on April 1.
