The Links, Incorporated is an international, not-for-profit corporation, established in 1946 with over 17,000 members. Our national program, the Black Family Wellness Expo was designed to expand our efforts to promote good health, reduce chronic disease, eliminate health disparities, and support wellness in the African American community by providing education, advocacy, and resources. During the month of March, Links chapters across the nation will be hosting a Black Family Wellness Expos! For our Houston area event, we are expecting over 500 expo attendees from Fort Bend, Harris, and Brazoria Counties, and surrounding areas. This event will be a health and wellness event that addresses the total well-being of African Americans by providing valuable information and resources on physical, dental, and mental health, financial services, education, and literacy. We are planning informational lectures, panel discussions, healthy cooking demonstrations, health screenings, wellness trainings, raffle drawings, food and much more!
