Austin Monthly‘s March/April issue celebrates the city’s best burgers, and we’re bringing the beef to the people with the Burger Bash on April 8 at the Long Center. Whether you like em smashed, smoked or grilled, we’ve got you covered. You’ll be able to enjoy mini versions of the Austin’s tastiest and most creative burgers as well as sample some of our favorite local beer, wine, and spirits. Once appetites are full, the crowd will vote for the people’s choice for the best burger. Between bites, shop vintage western wear from Ramblin’ Rose Vintage and watch the makers behind Trovador Customs craft custom cowboy hats. In the Beef. It’s What’s for Dinner. demo tent, local chefs will explain knife skills and butchering and then cook some of their favorite dishes. Plus, hit some golf balls at the Clubby Seltzer booth, try your hand at throwing an axe, or learn how to two step on the plaza. Looking for the ultimate burger experience? VIP guests will be invited to join a comfy shaded lounge overlooking the party with a bloody mary bar, mimosas, and a custom tote filled with goodies. Against the gorgeous backdrop of the city of Austin and to the soundtrack of a DJ set by Sunset Canyon, we promise one tasty and memory-making afternoon.
