Happy Women's History Month! Join us for a STAR STUDDED night of music! The Jam Family Band, led by Kelsi Walker, features Haley Labelle, Lauryl Brisson, Shayla McDaniel and Ash Baker. Guest local artists to be announced March 6th. Like most industries, the the music business is ran by men. Point Blank. From those booking shows, to managing bands, to writing press about musicians- It's a whole lot of men. That's why it is so incredible important to carve out spaces for women and non-binary artists to share their talents and to meet one another and those who support us! Knoxville has a rich, incredibly talented, and diverse music scene. The Women's History Month Jam is a low-stakes, egoless night of celebrating artists working hard to contribute to the Knoxville music scene while they sing songs by the women who inspired them to play music in the first place. Last year we celebrated at the Pilot Light and this year we are down the street over at Pretentious Beer Co. Grab a beer or kombucha and join us as we celebrate community and those who dare to push the norms of the music scene.
