DCTT KICKS OFF SPRING WITH AN EXPLORATION CHALLENGE AND HIKE DCTT Welcomes Travelers and Guests to Clinton Nature Preserve Douglas County, GA, March 17, 2023 – Douglas County Travel & Tourism, Inc. (DCTT) invites the public to explore one of Douglas County’s hidden gems by taking the Clinton Nature Preserve Exploration Challenge that begins on March 17, 2023, and concludes with a group hike on April 8, 2023. “The DCTT Board of Directors is thrilled to be able to offer both an Exploration Challenge and hike at Clinton Nature Preserve that promotes physical activity,” says Dorsha Simmons, Board President and Chair of DCTT. These activities give tourists and guests a unique view of Douglas County, just minutes away from Downtown Atlanta. First step; log on to ExploreDouglasCountyGA.com and click the Exploration Challenge link on the top right of the screen to locate the complete rules. The second step; once you arrive at Clinton Nature Preserve (8720 Ephesus Church Rd, Villa Rica, GA 30180), participate in your favorite outdoor activity such as walking, hiking, biking, fishing, horseback riding, playing on the playground, having a picnic, or relaxing. And the third step; While you’re enjoying your time at the park, take a selfie and email it, along with your name and county where you live, to [email protected] to be entered to win a prize. “DCTT has several great prizes for this Exploration Challenge. The key to winning the Clinton Nature Preserve Exploration Challenge grand prize is emailing a selfie from the park. DCTT will announce the winners after the hike on Saturday, April 8, 2023, on Facebook Live,” says Evony Hammonds, DCTT Executive Director.
