Description
It’s that time of year again! Keep Pinellas Beautiful will be hosting the 2023 Great American Cleanup (GAC), the nation’s largest community improvement program, in partnership with Keep America Beautiful, Pinellas County, and Seagram's Escapes from March 1st – June 30th. This Keep America Beautiful signature event engages over 7,000 volunteers, removing litter and beautifying locations throughout Pinellas County. Our main GAC event will be held on Saturday, March 18th, 2023 at various sites throughout the county. The success of our mission relies on the engagement of residents to take responsibility within their own neighborhoods. Our partners and volunteers are individuals, families, students, civic organizations, businesses, and government entities who all want to improve the environmental health of the community in which we live, work and play. Please help us exceed last year’s accomplishments by joining Keep Pinellas Beautiful and RGA Network on March 18th for the Great American Cleanup at Gandy Beach. Volunteers will have the opportunity to participate in a treasure hunt presented by Trashmitter! Please note: All participants must register. If your group has 10 or more volunteers, please notify Megan Jackson at [email protected] before registering for this event. *** WHERE TO MEET: We will meet at South Gandy Beach, east of The Getaway (See map below).
