SCCF's Everglades Update, which is held annually in partnership with the Everglades Foundation, will be an educational sunset cruise with Captiva Cruises this year. SCCF Environmental Policy Director Matt DePaolis and Everglades Foundation Chief Science Officer Steve Davis, Ph.D., will narrate the boat trip into Pine Island Sound from Captiva Island. Learn about current water quality issues, recently completed and upcoming Everglades projects, why the Everglades are important to the Caloosahatchee, and how the Everglades have an impact on water quality and coastal resilience in the face of climate change.
