Buy Black NB is pleased to announce the inaugural Black Excellence Gala, their first fundraising event and a night to remember. This event is sponsored by Vineyard Wind. Where: The New Bedford Whaling Museum, Downtown New Bedford When: Saturday, May 6 from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm What: An evening to spread awareness and raise funds for Buy Black NB operations & programs. VIP guests will enjoy a cocktail hour beginning at 5PM. All general admission will also include food, cash bar, live entertainment & DJ, auction and more! Formal dress code is recommended. On Saturday, May 6th, Buy Black NB will host the inaugural Black Excellence Gala, an elegant evening complete with food, dancing, live entertainment sponsored by WNB One Radio, and an auction for all of our supporters. We invite you to be part of the fun! The Black Excellence Gala is the inaugural fundraiser of Buy Black NB. Since its inception in June 2020, Buy Black NB has connected consumers with hundreds of local Black-owned businesses, hosted adult and youth vendor market events celebrating Black culture, curated gift guides for every occasion highlighting diverse, locally-made goods, hosted a HERstory series amplifying the voices of Black women in business, created the Buy Black Professionals Networking Series, fundraised for local organizations and connected business owners with opportunities as they arise including original blog content and spotlight features.
