Please join the Melrose Human Rights Commission for the 5th Annual Community Iftar Celebration All are welcome! Iftar is the daily sunset meal to break the fast during the month of Ramadan, which begins this year at sunset on March 22nd and will end on the evening of April 20th. Program: 6:00 p.m. – Doors Open 6:15 - 7:15 p.m. – Musical Performances, Activities for children & Speaking Program 7:17 p.m. – Athan (“call to prayer”) at sunset 7:20 p.m. – Iftar (“breaking the fast”) Dinner 8:30 p.m. - The event concludes Suggested Donation at the door: $20 per family Presented in partnership with Malden Islamic Center and Peace Islands Institute Boston
