Join OWP for a Day of Celebrating Literacy! Date: Wednesday, April 5, 2023 Location: Sam Noble Museum of Natural Literacy The Oklahoma Writing Project invites you to attend 2023 Spring Celebration of Writing for Elementary Students and Teachers. Each teacher may bring 5 students per adult, grades Kdg-6th. Parents and student teachers are welcome, too. Register soon. Spaces are limited! (Middle School Teachers if you would like to bring 7th/8th grade, please reply to this email. OWP will make sure event is appropriate for this level as well.) The day will begin with Write to Win Celebration recognizing 2023 Elementary winners. All winners from the OWP “Write to Win” contest are encouraged to attend. All participants attending conference will receive a copy of the 2023 Write to Win Anthology. Teacher may bring students in addition to winning writers. After celebration, participants will be given a journal to guide a writing adventure around the museum. 9:30-10:00--- Registration/Check In 10:00-11:00--- 2023 Write to Win Celebration of Winning Writers Each attendee will receive a copy of the 2023 Write to Win Anthology where winners writing is published. 11:00-12:30--- Writing Around the Museum Each participant will be given a writing journal to use as a guide around the museum. It will be a fun writing time as students explore the musuem. 12:30 Conference End Schools may return to school or lunch in the area.
