Doug Stout, Secretary of the Board of Directors of IBC, veteran instructor and senior student to our late Geshe Jinpa Sonam, will teach methods for successful meditation practice through two very important texts in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition: Liberation in the Palm of Your Hand and The Great Treatise. This is an on-site class beginning Thursday March 2, 2023. A meditation followed by the teaching will be given each week. Attendees will be given homework and suggested texts for readings. In-person attendees will be given handouts of materials so please grab your tickets on Eventbrite to let us know who will be attending so we can make copies and refreshments available. $5 suggested donation for each class helps to cover the cost of these materials.
