About Chelsé Hi! My name is Chelsé, also known as The Fat Black Educator, and I’m a community focused Birthworker and Babywearing educator currently continuing my education in biologically normal infant sleep. I seek to encourage, equip, and support parents in the nuanced journey of parenthood and delight in doing so within the facets of my work. I am the founder of The Birthworkers Coalition Of Color and offer professional development webinars and in person workshops for fellow professionals. In addition to the work I do with processionals I also offer one on one babywearing consults and in home postpartum support but my work doesn’t stop there. I seek to support my community by offering zero cost community workshops to marginalized and low income families, weekly postpartum support groups, and a local group specifically for Black parents called The Village who meets regularly for brunch and bi-weekly play dates. As I continue to expand my scope of practice and grow in my work I look forward to connecting with you.
