Come mix and mingle with local community organizers from across the Bay Area. We're creating an intentional space to uplift and provide support to those who are building power and transforming their local community. We firmly believe there is room within the movement for anyone willing to unapologetically stand up for Black lives. This event is meant to connect networks to fully embrace the ideals of collective impact. WE ARE IN THIS FIGHT TOGETHER! On this night, we'll be highlighting 5 leaders who are participating in the Black Citizen Changemakers cohort and welcoming our networks to get a sneak peek at the new GroundFloor Club Oakland location. Drinks and light bites will be provided. ABOUT BLACK CITIZEN: Black Citizen invests in community-led initiatives and small non-profit organizations that empower Black lives by harnessing the energy and urgency of today’s social justice movements to create, scale, and sustain social and economic power to advance Black lives in Bay Area communities.
