Description
Do you think making small adjustments in how we do business has the power to create big impacts and a more balanced and sustainable economy? Are you looking for ways to grow your business off of social media and alongside real live humans?Join us for an evening workshop, where you’ll have the chance to meet others who are interested in doing business in more sustainable and holistic ways. We'll start the evening with introductions, an overview of regenerative business principles, and then a round table where anyone in attendance can pose a question for the group to help answer or offer ideas. The power of peer-to-peer leadership to unlock extra support and innovation can be experienced in group settings like this one. Refreshments and light snacks provided. What is Regenerative Business Strategy? Regenerative Business Strategy translates the wisdom of natural systems into workable approaches for building stable, large-scale, prosperous, and holistic efficiencies (net positive business outcomes). Regenerative Business Strategy is a framework of principles that helps guide peer-to-peer leadership systems. Regenerative Business Strategy looks for ways to break out of silos and begin reforming social networks of connection for the next generation of business. Why now? Big changes are underway in the ways people live and work. Try as we might, there isn't any 'going back', but rather adapting toward the future in more creative and nourishing ways. As the need for global solutions to climate change accelerates, we will need to lead each other through shared knowledge and resources. How? When people are in/on purpose, we start to see our differences complement each other in a stunning natural organization. Without individuation and freedom to grow unique contributions and skills, collaboration can feel stifling, restricting...and not very productive. But without the ability to balance and reconcile different voices, ideas tend to filter into small echo chambers. Nature-based organization strategies and interdependence play a key role in balancing self-determination within a shared network of resources. Fixing social-climate issues from the same thinking that largely helped create them doesn’t seem to pencil. Designing solutions in the ways nature operates creates symbiosis in two ways. 1) It connects people back to the time-tested wisdom of the natural environment, providing a map. 2) It helps people experience themselves in an ecosystem of diverse relationships with other living beings. By adjusting our line of sight and looking through a different lens, new opportunities and solutions for improving business, social and environmental outcomes reveal themselves organically. How can we begin reconnecting individuals into larger networks of support and use collective resources for positive change—economically, environmentally and socially?
