Community Cares Event & Free Pancake Breakfast

All are invited to enjoy a free pancake breakfast, as well as meet representatives from and learn how 11 nonprofit organizations benefit our community. This Community Cares Event will take place on Saturday, April 1 from 9-11:30 a.m. at United Methodist Church Westlake Village, 1049 S. Westlake Blvd. Displays will be set up on the patio and lawn areas, with breakfast served in Alton Hall. It will be a time for people to come, eat and learn about resources and volunteer opportunities with these nonprofits, as well as see what community programs the church supports. Included at each display will be a special activity for kids of all ages. Participating nonprofits are Casa Pacifica, Fit-4-The Cause, Gold Coast Veterans, Harbor House, Las Virgenes Water, Manna, Many Mansions, Moving Seniors Forward, Senior Concerns, The Growing Place and Westminster Free Clinic. The church will also have a display with information about programs it offers to the community, such as Conejo Connect, Pizazz Music Camp and Vacation Bible School.
