National Financial Literacy month is recognized each year in April to raise public awareness of the importance of financial literacy and maintaining smart money management habits.
On Saturday, April 1st, Join Mia Burse, founder of Next Generation Ventures LLC and author of the children's financial literacy book "Saving Money with Randall and Jerome" for a Kids Financial Literacy Fair! The fair is going to be held in the Delavan Grider Community Center Gym from 12-2 pm.
During the event, children (and their parents/guardians) will be able to visit stations that will help them learn about saving money at any age, shop and network with child business owners ("kidpreneurs"), and learn about youth banking options from local banks. Children will also have an opportunity to join the #NextGenSaver Challenge.
Through the generous donation of several sponsors, we will also have amazing giveaways during the fairthat you don't want to miss!
This event is free and open to the public! However, advance registration is requested by March 29, 2023.
