For our April event we will be volunteering at the Austin Humane Society! Austin Humane Society is the longest-standing no-kill, non-profit pet and adoption center in Austin. They serve the Austin community by providing life-saving programs for animals, educational events for people of all ages, and aiding in emergency response. On April 8th our VU volunteers will be assisting with various tasks around the shelter such as cleaning cat kennels, painting their auditorium, making dog/cat treats, etc. Please wear closed toed shoes and clothes you wouldn't mind getting a little dirty. After volunteering, we will be getting together for a social hour nearby at Brewtorium! As a volunteer with Volunteering Untapped ATX I understand that the nature of the volunteer activity may involve some potential risks of injury. I hereby release, indemnify and hold harmless Volunteering Untapped ATX, its non-profit partners, directors, officers, employees and any entities affiliated with this event from any and all liability, claim, demands and causes of action of whatever kind and nature. In addition, Volunteering Untapped has my permission to use photos or video taken at the event for publicity purposes. By signing this waiver I understand it is valid indefinitely.
