Join us as we welcome the music collective, Las Brujas Chicanas! Bring your lunch and join the community party and learn about Chicano son jarocho, a musical and dance genre with roots in Veracruz, Mexico, and a history shaped by Spanish, Indigenous, and African traditions. This is a free event and open to all ages. Refreshments will be provided.This event is co-sponsored by the University of New Mexico's (UNM) Latin American & Iberian Institute, Department of Music, and LGBTQ Resource Center.
