Tickets include a free meal, a small Easter Basket for the children, and a chance to participate in activities to win prizes. All proceeds will go towards future events and community giveaways. Come join us for entertainment, meditation/chair yoga, dance contest, fashion show, photos with the Easter Bunny, and other activities. For the Fashion Show, ALL participating children MUST sign up by March 26, 2023. There will be no last-minute participants. Only 20 children, male or female, ages limits (3 to 13), will be able to participate. Registration is on a first come first serve basis. Please email the child's first and last name, age, parent's name, and contact information to [email protected]. All participants must follow the listed rules or will not be considered for the prize. 1.) Each child gets 1 minute to strut the runway. 2.) Inappropriate dances are not allowed (twerking, grinding, ect) 3.) No interrupting other participants. 4.) Have fun! Beginning 03/5/23 new or gently worn dresses or suits for the youth can be donated to IDYC Hub to be provided to the less fortunate. A tote will be placed outside of True Love Christain Ministries (6138 Nevada Ave Detroit Michigan 48234) for donations Sundays at 11am-1:30pm and Thursdays 5:30pm-7pm. Members of the community are also welcome to explore donated items during that designated time. Present during the event will be several vendors, service providers, and other professionals. These individuals will be providing resources and education centered around health and wellness, financial literacy, and life skills. Additionally, monetary donations can be made via Cash App to $ImpactDetroitYouth. All other items and cash donations can be made at True Love Christian Ministries at the times and days listed above for the Dress and Suit Drive.
