During this training we will talk about various representations of disabilities in the media and how they impact society's understanding of disabilities. In this training, we will cover: Media stereotypes of disabilitiesImpact on public perception of disabilities Casting actors with disabilities Who will benefit from this training? People with disabilities, employers, government agencies, schools, health care, non-profit, and for-profit businesses. We believe anyone could benefit from this training. Lunch will be provided for in-person attendees.
