Starting the Tour 8:00am - Join fellow enthusiasts at Griot’s Garage (3333 S. 38th St., Tacoma) for their Caffeine & Gasoline Super Cars event. We’ll provide some additional pastries and coffee for you to munch on.9:15am - Driver's Meeting 9:30am - Departure on our journey from Griot's Garage. Heading west and south, we’ll meander on scenic roads with stops along the way. Lunch Stop - Our lunch destination is the Fort George Brewery in Astoria, OR. Lunch will be on your own (order off the menu). Activities - After lunch, the group will tour the Columbia River Maritime Museum. Admission is $16.00 adults, $13.00 seniors 65+. After which, we'll explore the town shops of Astoria at your leisure before check into our lodging afterwards. Lodging & Dinner - Make your lodging reservation to stay in Gearhart, OR at one of these locations. Both are the same nightly rate: McMenamins Gearhart Hotel - for reservations, please call (503)470-5363. Rooms are $245 plus tax.Gearhart by the Sea Condominiums - for reservations, please call (503)738-8331. Rentals with multiple rooms available. McMenamins will host a whiskey tasting for us at 6:30pm prior to dinner. We’ll let you know the place. It just might be in their secret room! Our group will meet for dinner at 7:00pm in The Sand Trap Pub at McMenamins. Cost of dinner and whiskey is on your own (order off of the menu). Brunch and the Return Trip -- If anyone would like drive south to Tillamook Sunday morning, the Creamery opens at 10:00am for tours and you can enjoy an early lunch/brunch at the Café. Otherwise, we can enjoy a leisurely breakfast and head back north. Cost for the tour is $35.00 per person for Club Auto members, $45.00 for non-members.
