We invite you to our 5th annual Spring Homestead Weekend at Wild Roots Community Farm to learn, share and be among wholesome people greatly invested in self-reliance, homesteading and useful skills in life.
There will be pasture walks, woods walks, spring tonics, mushroom cultivation, open flame cooking, discussions in livestock integration, agroforestry and agroecology, a primitive camp setup, homestead medical and lots more.
Potluck Friday evening, onsite camping, firepits for cooking, music each night and a cold spring river available
Each spring we kick off the season with community and this always is a highlight of the year for many. We hope you can join us.
**There will be a tree planting ceremony Friday May 5th in honor of Jack Murphy, a young man who had a great appreciation for the wild. A portion of ticket sales will go to the Jack Murphy Foundation.
