Spoonful co-directors Katherine Elmer and Kara Buchanan will share their expertise in local, wild, medicinal herbs and responsible foraging, including sharing techniques and recipes to turn the harvest into a tasty wild weeds pesto featuring the abundant, tasty, yet invasive, Garlic Mustard! Participants are encouraged to bring a camera (phone) a notebook and garden or other gloves for protection. Their medicinal herb garden will also be open throughout the day for self-guided tours to learn more about what medicinal plants grow well in our region.
