A beginner knife skills class. Learn how to safely use and sharpen a knife while carving multiple useful projects. Students will use fixed blade knives while sitting around the fire. This class will also include how to select wood, various knife grips, how to choose the best knife for you, and much more. Open to adults and families. Minors must attend with a parent. There is no age minimum, but it is up to the parents of the child to decide if they are ready to learn knife skills. Usually, age 7 and up is a good time to start children in these classes.

Please bring warm, layered clothing, water/snacks, and a camp chair if you would like to sit on something.
