504Healthnet and Xavier University of Louisiana present a Master CLASS train-the-trainer course on Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS) Standards. Our trainer: Dr. Margarita Echeverri, Educational Coordinator of Health Disparities, Cultural Competence and Diversity at Xavier University Learn: How implementing CLAS Standards in your organization can advance health equity, health literacy, and ensure compliance with Title VI guidance and Section 1557 of the ACAHow to implement CLAS StandardsHow to train your staff and leadership teams on CLAS StandardsA light coffee breakfast and lunch will be served. The training will be held at Xavier University in the Pharmacy building. Parking and directions will be sent out prior to the event. You must register to receive a parking pass. This event is made possible by generous funding from the Office of Minority Health for Health Literacy initiatives with the New Orleans Health Department.
