Soy Poderosa is ALPFA El Paso's chapter’s signature professional development event held annually in March. What began as a social media campaign in 2021, has now transpired into a celebratory and purposeful initiative highlighting an impressive record of achievements & community-driven women with roots in El Paso, who exemplify ALPFA of El Paso’s principles to expand opportunities to Latinas and Hispanas. This initiative brings us together for a day of self-reflection, networking, professional development, and celebration of Latinas/Hispanics everywhere. It is time for us, as Latinas/Hispanas, to break free from the cultural narratives and rewrite the scripts that follow our way of life.
