Central Texas Community Health Summit is an opportunity to engage and create partnerships that increase knowledge, strengthen resources and improve access to services dedicated to physical, behavioral and social health. Building upon our event from 2022, this years event will focus primarily on Mental Health and Homelessness. Brining together service providers, community and system leaders and advocates, we will spend dedicate time learning from each other and discussing the best practices with a focus on initiatives and actions being planned and implemented here in Bell County. Together we can empower individuals, groups, and agencies to take effective action toward improving the overall health of our communities. Keynote Speakers: Dr. Robert G. Marbut Jr. - Marbut Counseling Eric Samuels - President and CEO of Texas Homeless Network Participants will be able to: Review various ways community resiliency was exhibited during this pandemicRecognize that people can still be creative and innovative during these trying timesDescribe how leadership qualities of persons affects their response to crisisIdentify how one’s mental health is affected during a pandemicExamine how digital inequity presents major challenges during a pandemicAssess how faith-based programs present a support framework for people in need.
