Autism And Music (AnM) was founded ten years ago, with the mission of helping to enhance the quality of life of individuals with autism.Since then, they have hosted more than 50 music activities for individuals on the spectrum to have a place to feel included and respected, while playing music. AnM was founded in Miami, FL and they have recently expanded to North Carolina. They are now hosting free monthly music activities for people on the spectrum and their families in partnership with the local non-profit organization “Arms Around ASD.” The funds collected at this event will help AnM to continue hosting their monthly events in North Carolina as well as to continue promoting autism awareness. AnM has a clear vision, and it is to open their ‘AnM Sanctuary”, a place in nature to offer inclusive classes including music, art, yoga among others on a regular basis. Their slogan: "We are One".
