The MiAKA date auction is an Eta Xi original and signature program that started in the 1970's. This fundraising event brings male contestants together to be bid on by audience members. The highest bidder will win a gift basket with perfect date essentials. Proceeds from this event will benefit JJ Smiles which is an organization that encourages grieving parents/grandparents (who have lost a child/grandchild) through counseling, education, and therapeutic techniques, while providing a safe stimulating environment that will foster healthy, emotional and physical growth and the process of healing with their family, friends and themselves.
