Drug Free Kern and Health Management Associates (HMA) are pleased to invite you to a strategy session for reducing overdose deaths in Kern through coordinated action in a new program that the Department of Health Care services is funding for Kern. The Community Overdose Prevention Effort (COPE) program will be hosting its kick-off meeting on March 29 with a community forum to discuss: Program’s resources, Review county-level data, Examine the current reach of naloxone distribution, Have a community dialogue on what’s working, what’s missing, and what are the most pressing priorities.
