Although we celebrate Black women everyday around here, we are excited to bring the community back outside to join in on the March for Balck Women and Girls 2023! This years theme is #TogetherWe Rise Hosted by the lovely Influencer: Drekkia "Writes" Morning the founder of MelaninLand and Hey Sis! As you know this is a yearly event that makes space for Black women and Girls in our community, provides resources and brings awareness to the unique concerns of our sisters. It’s a magical time full of shea butter and bamboo earrings (at least two pair). But this is also a time to reflect on and remember the Black women and girls who are no longer with us by way of a flower restoration ceremony and culminate on a walk thru the historical 9th street district. We also got flowers for our sisters out here creating change (philanthropy) making money moves (entrepreneurship) and our educators. Save the Date: APRIL 22. 2023 This year's location is going to be amazing!
