Come celebrate Earth Day at the Art and History Museums in Maitland with a morning filled with Earth Day activities all over our National Historic Landmark campus.
We’ll have children’s craft stations, including printmaking eco-inspired tote bags in our main garden! Our tote bags are inspired by A & H’s founder, Jules Andre’ Smith - a master printmaker who loved experimenting with art, and we can’t think of anything more fun than creating reusable art with recycled materials on Earth Day!
We’ll have more surprises too, like face painting and complimentary admission to all our main campus museum attractions—including our contemporary art museum filled with sculptural work by Bahamian-born sculptor Kendra Frorup, our interactive Telephone Museum, and our newly opened museum, Maitland’s Attic!
Space and craft supplies are limited, so reserve a spot for your family today!
Earth Day Family Day at A & H is free of charge and sponsored by Massey Services.
