Description
Expand on your ability to harness your breath to learn how to keep control of your response to stress. An Ice Bath is the ultimate safe, voluntary, stressor that you can encounter, and practice keeping your shit together. Learn how to stay calm, focus, and reveal that your body is capable of so much more than you thought was capable. When you do things you are afraid of in calm confident states of mind, you can do incredible things. This amazing activity is deeply therapeutic and helps to further unlock blocked areas of your body, release adrenaline all through the use of breath, mind, and focus. No only will you impress yourself with what you can do, you will feel better afterward. Doing difficult things, things that make you uncomfortable make everything else you do feel better. Try it out. The effect can last for 6 days. This activity as you might guess lowers inflammation, and doing so it reduces chronic illness, and helps you gain the confidence you've always wanted. Your body respond to this activity in very healthy ways, inflammation goes down, sugar levels become more controlled, you mind calms, adrenaline frees you to more movement. Stress and deep trauma may reveal itself during this class allowing students to take time and feel deep seated things in their body and soul to accept and relax into themselves as they are without judgement. It is normal to feel like you are in a dream like state for a while after this class, this is normal your brain waves are restoring and reenergizing. This class is great for anyone curious about cold exposure, particularly ice baths. Even if you haven't started yet you can start with cold showers now to prepare yourself for the journey. We will briefly discuss other options like cold showers, outdoor winter activities, and other cold options as well. I want to share this with others because of the profound effect it has on me regarding chronic pain, stress, and anxiety. I spent 19 year in the military and that gave me time to build up a lot of shenanigans. This activity has helped me control and reduce symptoms of depression, PTSD, as well as inflammation systemically, and has been shown to do this to anyone who makes this a practice. After one event you will feel better, when you make this a part of your regular practice you will be better.
