It’s that time of year again! Keep Pinellas Beautiful will be hosting the 2023 Great American Cleanup (GAC), the nation’s largest community improvement program, in partnership with Keep America Beautiful, Pinellas County, and Seagram's Escapes from March 1st – June 30th. This Keep America Beautiful signature event engages over 7,000 volunteers, removing litter and beautifying locations throughout Pinellas County. Our main GAC event will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at various sites throughout the county. The success of our mission relies on the engagement of residents to take responsibility within their own neighborhoods. Our partners and volunteers are individuals, families, students, civic organizations, businesses, and government entities who all want to improve the environmental health of the community in which we all live, work and play. Please help us exceed last year’s accomplishments by joining Keep Pinellas Beautiful and Freedom Boat Club of Tampa Bay for this year's Great American Cleanup at the Dunedin Causeway! *** WHERE TO MEET: Dunedin Causeway - 61 Causeway Blvd, Dunedin, FL. Meeting location will be across from Sail Honeymoon Inc. (See image below). TIME: 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM WHAT TO WEAR: Volunteers should wear closed toe shoes, sun protection, and weather appropriate clothing. WHAT TO EXPECT: Cleanup supplies will be provided. A water refill station will be available, please bring a refillable water bottle.
