Description

Get Dane County Youth Excited About Your Industry! The MMSD Trades Nights are a new event series that will give Dane County Students and their families the opportunity to learn about the different opportunities available to them in the Construction and Transportation trades after high school. There are two sessions - one each on the East and West sides of Madison, on April 11th and 25th, respectively. Through different sessions, attendees will learn about the different trades, compensation and benefits, necessary education and certifications, and more. Then they will move into more specific breakout sessions focused on an attendee's current grade level. Seniors will have focused next-steps for pursuing careers in the trades while all others will learn about how to prepare while in high school. To culminate the event, attendees will get to meet with different trades representatives to network and get a feel for the different trades through hands-on exploration (this is where you come in!) So what's needed of you? We are looking for industry professionals in the various construction and transportation trades! Please consider sharing this widely Register for a booth!
