Learn the science behind proper pruning of your trees and shrubs at the Sammamish Valley Grange program, Spring Pruning Demonstration, Wednesday, April 5th, at 6:00 PM. We’ll discuss tree structure and biology and how a tree responds to pruning cuts. Discover a pruning “Rule” that will let you prune with confidence. Held outdoors on the 21 Acres campus in Woodinville, the demonstration will be led by Tom Quigley, Grange President and Certified Arborist. Quigley has helped numerous homeowners and aspiring pruners understand how to prune in an informed way. Bring your questions, time for Q and A will follow the formal presentation.
Note, this program will be held outdoors and begins at 6:00 PM. 21 Acres is located at 13701 NE 171st St. in Woodinville. We will be walking around so wear sensible shoes. Please join us for this timely demonstration and discussion.
