In this three hour introductory class, Kate will give you the tools and instruction to produce a fully decorated Ukrainian Easter Egg or Pysanka. You can learn the techniques in the first hour and a half, but you'll want to stay and practice! Tools include: bees wax, melted over a candle and applied to the egg surface with a ..."Kistka" or stylus.Duck and Chicken EggsSpecial Pysanky DyesKate will teach you the history of this ancient art form and bring examples from her personal collection. 100% of the Admission fee will go to the Tedford Housing Capital Campaign to build new housing for the unhoused in the Midcoast region.
